LOCAL COVER FROM DSBM.
DSBM Membership covers registered vehicles within a defined road-mile area from AB43, with direct access to the local DSBM recovery service.
What the 50 road miles means
The included distance is measured by road mileage from AB43. That matters in rural Aberdeenshire because a place that looks close in a straight line can require a much longer drive on the actual road network.
Two rescues per vehicle, per month
The current plan allows up to two genuine breakdown/recovery rescues per month for each registered vehicle, subject to fair use, safe access and the current membership terms.
Online member account
Members can use the online portal to manage registered vehicles and membership information. The main DSBM site stays focused on getting help quickly; the membership platform handles the account side.
Snow and difficult access
Recovery is always subject to safe access and real conditions. Membership cannot make an impassable road passable, and severe weather may affect routes and response times.
MEMBERSHIP QUESTIONS.
Is this for planned vehicle transport?
No. Membership is for genuine breakdown and recovery support, not repeated planned transport or commercial vehicle movements.
What if I am outside the included radius?
The current membership site states £1 per mile after the included 50-road-mile radius. Check the live terms when joining.
Can I join online?
Yes. The DSBM membership site shows the current plans and online joining process.
