Four-wheel drive still needs the right recovery setup
Tell us the exact model, whether the gearbox is automatic and if the selector or parking brake will release. The vehicle’s transport instructions guide the loading plan; a 4x4 badge alone does not tell us how it should be moved.
Weight and modifications matter
Heavy accessories, loads, raised suspension and oversized tyres can change the recovery requirements. Send a side photograph and explain what is fitted or carried. If you are towing a trailer, tell us that at the first call.
Roadside breakdown or stuck off the road?
A roadside failure and a vehicle stuck in mud need different preparation. For a field, track or ditch, describe the ground and access as well as the fault. We assess the extraction before agreeing the job.

Can you recover an automatic 4x4?
We can assess suitable automatic and four-wheel-drive vehicles. Give us the model and whether it can roll so the transport method can follow its requirements.
Can you recover a pickup carrying a load?
It depends on the total weight and securing arrangements. Declare the contents and known loaded weight when requesting help.
Do you pull vehicles out of fields?
We assess off-road recovery separately, including ground conditions, access, vehicle position and permission to enter the land.
