What information may be collected
DSBM may collect customer name, phone number, email address, vehicle registration, vehicle details, pickup and delivery locations, job notes, messages, payment status, photos, videos and tracking information where needed for a job.
Why information is used
Information is used to answer enquiries, provide quotes, carry out recovery and transport jobs, provide mobile workshop support, manage membership, process payments, keep records, handle disputes and improve customer service.
Photos, videos and live tracking
Photos, videos and live tracking may be used for job proof, customer updates, vehicle condition records, safety and social media content. Customers can ask DSBM not to post identifiable images publicly.
Payments
Payment links may be provided through DSBM online payment systems. DSBM should not ask customers to send full card details by message.
Sharing information
Information may be shared where needed with drivers, subcontractors, payment providers, insurers, garages, recovery partners, legal advisers or authorities where required. DSBM does not aim to sell customer personal data.
How long records are kept
Job records may be kept for business records, accounting, insurance, customer service and dispute handling. Records should not be kept longer than needed for the purpose they were collected.
Customer rights
Customers can contact DSBM to ask about personal data held, request corrections, request deletion where appropriate, or object to certain uses.
