A947 recovery

DSBM Recovery covers breakdown enquiries along the A947 between the Aberdeen side and Banff. A failed car outside Fyvie, a van on the Oldmeldrum approaches and a vehicle already inside Turriff each need a clear location and access check. Call with the nearest place and we will take it from there.

Roadside, village street or farm entrance?

On the A947, say whether you were travelling towards Aberdeen or Banff and which village you passed most recently. If the vehicle is at a property off the road, send the entrance pin as well as the address. Around Dyce, include the business name if you have pulled into a site.

What to tell us

Along with the registration and fault, explain whether the vehicle rolls and steers and whether it is blocking the road. A farm collection needs the gate location and a description of the ground. You do not need to know the recovery equipment required; the condition and access information let us assess that.

Local delivery and long-distance transport

We can arrange a local garage delivery or a longer vehicle move from the A947 area to another part of Scotland or the UK. Check that the receiving garage can accept the vehicle, then send both postcodes, your preferred date and the key holder’s details when booking.
