Sometimes a recovered vehicle cannot go straight to a garage or its final destination. Contact DSBM to discuss available storage and the arrangements for the vehicle.
Before a vehicle comes into storage
We need the registration, vehicle condition, reason for storage and the person authorising the job. Tell us whether the vehicle rolls and steers, whether keys are available, and whether there are any collection restrictions or a police hold.
Agree charges and the next step
Storage availability, charges, the expected collection date and any recovery or release arrangements are confirmed for the job. Keep the named contact up to date if an insurer, repairer or another recovery operator will be collecting.
Insurance and repairer handovers
Provide the claim or job reference and the details of the authorised contact. Instructions, payment responsibility and the required collection equipment need to be clear before handover is arranged.
Arrange collection in advance
Call to agree the collection time, release authority and loading requirements. A damaged vehicle, locked wheel or missing keys can affect the equipment needed. DSBM can also quote for onward delivery to an agreed garage or other destination.
Discuss your job with DSBM
Call with the details or send them on WhatsApp. We’ll confirm the arrangements and price.
