A98 recovery

DSBM Recovery covers enquiries along the A98 corridor from the Fraserburgh area towards Macduff, Banff and Portsoy. We also arrange collections from the coastal communities reached by roads off the A98. Tell us whether you are on the main road or have travelled down into a village.

Keep the pin at the vehicle

Coastal place names can cover both the A98 approach and a separate harbour or residential street. Give your direction of travel and the last place passed if you are still on the main road. If you have taken a turning towards the coast, identify the actual street, harbour or property entrance.

What to tell us

Let us know if the vehicle is beside moving traffic, on an incline or behind a tight entrance. For harbour-side collections, describe the space around the vehicle and whether it rolls and steers. Photos are useful when taken safely; the recovery plan can then account for access before we set off.

Local delivery and long-distance transport

We can take a car from the A98 area to your chosen local garage or arrange a longer move elsewhere in Scotland or the UK. For a seller or garage collection, have the release contact, opening times and both postcodes ready when requesting your transport quote.
