Need help on the A981 between the Fraserburgh area, Strichen and New Deer? DSBM Recovery takes direct calls for breakdowns, accident-damaged vehicles and rural collections along this Buchan route. Share the location and we will confirm how we can help.
Strichen village or the open road?
Tell us the last village or junction passed and whether you were heading towards Fraserburgh or New Deer. If you are parked in Strichen, a street name will help distinguish the vehicle from one on the surrounding roads near Mormond Hill. A farm name should be accompanied by the correct entrance pin.
What to tell us
Describe the road position, vehicle fault and whether it will roll, steer and brake. If a wheel is buried in soft ground or the vehicle is off the road, explain that before collection. During poor weather, let us know about blocked access or surface conditions at your location.
Local delivery and long-distance transport
For a planned collection from a village driveway or Buchan farm, use our quote system with both postcodes and your preferred day. We offer local garage moves and longer journeys across the UK, with access and the vehicle’s condition agreed before booking.
Let’s get you moving
