Strichen sits on the A981 under Mormond Hill, a short inland hop from DSBM’s Fraserburgh yard. This is close local coverage, not a fake depot. Village streets, the A981 toward New Deer or Fraserburgh, and the exposed hill roads toward New Pitsligo are the jobs. Storm debris and snow drifting already show up on this coast’s community pages — that is real work. Call 01224 044741 or send GPS. Booked moves: quotes.dsbm.uk.

A981, A950 links and Mormond.

From the Broch you come in on the A981. The A950 is the Mintlaw–New Pitsligo neighbour, not the High Street. Hill roads can glaze when the village is wet. Farm tracks toward Tyrie need a gate. We know Mormond as a landmark; we still need the pin if you are on the white-horse side of the hill. The white-horse side of Mormond is a different road from High Street. Tyrie farm tracks need a gate. Storm debris on the A981 is an access problem we already know from this coast — still send the pin so we do not search the hill.
