For a recovery and transport operator, a pickup is a working tool. Towing stability, access, traction and manoeuvring matter every time a vehicle is collected.

Dylan was invited to an Iceland experience with the Ford Ranger PHEV. The programme included towing and off-road exercises, giving him an opportunity to assess the pickup from a recovery and trailer operator’s perspective.
Experience beyond a normal road test.
The exercises connected with questions that come up in DSBM’s day-to-day work: how a vehicle behaves with a trailer, how it handles uneven ground and how it manoeuvres where access is limited.
