Separate starting from rolling
“Non-runner” can mean a flat battery, engine failure, a seized wheel or a partly dismantled project. Tell us separately whether it starts, rolls, steers and brakes. That gives a clearer picture than the label alone.
Confirm what comes with the vehicle
Keep keys and release documents available. List spare parts, removed panels or other items that need to travel. Extra weight and loose components must be considered before the quote is agreed.
Give the destination the same information
Tell the receiving garage or owner if the car cannot roll or steer. Check that the unloading place is accessible and that someone can receive it. A vehicle safely parked at collection still needs a workable handover at the other end.
