This collision-damaged car could not be loaded as a normal rolling vehicle. The missing or damaged wheel changed how the movement needed to be planned.
The wheel changes the job.
A vehicle can look ready to tow while a broken wheel or suspension component prevents it moving safely. On this job, DSBM adapted the loading plan around the damaged corner instead of treating the car as a standard collection.
Photos help us prepare.
For a similar recovery, send clear photographs of the affected wheel, suspension and surrounding bodywork when it is safe to do so. Tell us if the vehicle steers, whether other wheels are locked, and whether any parts are dragging on the ground.
Arrange the destination.
Accident-damaged vehicles may need to go to a repairer, bodyshop or another agreed location. Confirm who will accept the vehicle and tell us about access at the delivery point. We can discuss a suitable movement once the condition is understood.
A wheel missing or locked?
