Kirkton of Skene is the church, hall and old village immediately west of Westhill on the A944, not the Westhill business parks themselves. Commuter cars, the back road toward Echt, and overflow from Arnhall industrial traffic are what we actually see. There is no DSBM depot in Skene, Westhill or Kingswells. The truck is coming from Fraserburgh down the A90, then AWPR or A944, so city-bound rush hour on the Aberdeen western edge is the clock — not the ten minutes a city operator would quote. If you are in an industrial yard, name the estate; if you are at the kirk, say the village.
