Dunecht is the A944 village by the estate walls, between Westhill and Alford, with the drive to Dunecht House, forestry tracks and the crossroads toward Echt. A recovery truck cannot assume the estate roads are public or that a low loader will clear the gates. This is not Westhill industrial and it is not Alford town. DSBM starts from Fraserburgh; the honest run is A90 then A944 west, and snow on the Alford road is what stretches the last miles. House names and gate codes matter more than the village name on its own.
