Dylan Masson began DSBM with local vehicle transport in 2020. The work grew into breakdown recovery, accident-damaged vehicle movements and longer collections and deliveries.
Built through the work.
After more than five years operating as a sole trader, DSBM Auto Center Ltd started in March 2026. The recovery service trades as DSBM Recovery, with direct customer contact and practical planning around each vehicle and collection.
Local response when conditions turn.
During severe Fraserburgh snow, Dylan spoke to BBC Scotland News as DSBM and friends worked to help stranded motorists. After Storm Floris, three DSBM teams worked through the night helping clear fallen trees and debris without charge.
A practical interest in the equipment.
Dylan’s invitation to Iceland for Ford Ranger PHEV towing and off-road exercises brought the perspective of someone who works with trailers and recovery vehicles to the experience.
Where DSBM is heading.
Recovery and transport continue alongside local membership and the launched iPhone app. A future Auto Center workshop is in development, with opening details to be announced when confirmed.
