Lumphanan sits on the A980 between Torphins, Aboyne-direction B-roads and Kincardine O’Neil links. DSBM covers it from Fordafourie, Fraserburgh. Roads can be narrow and shaded, with winter ice and limited passing places. Call 01224 044741 or send GPS. Safe access is assessed before sending heavy recovery down a restricted track. Booked collections: quotes.dsbm.uk.
A980, the Peel and the fringe roads.
The A980 is the spine. The village is small. Peel Ring / historic-site roads are not a car park for a trailer. Farms toward Perkhill need a gate. We will say if the track is not suitable. This is Deeside fringe, not an A90 hop. Peel Ring access is not a trailer car park. Perkhill farms and the A980 passing places fill with agricultural kit. If the track has no turning head we will load from the A980 — send the photo so we can say that before we arrive.
