Lauriston and inland lanes toward Laurencekirk are agricultural. We come the long way from the Broch; this is honest southern-Mearns distance. The nature-reserve car parks and Lauriston inland lanes are not the A92. There is no reliable hard shoulder. If you are toward Montrose rather than Inverbervie, say the direction — this is the southern edge of the regular run from Fraserburgh.
