Huntly sits on the A96 with the A97 running south toward Rhynie and the Cabrach and north toward Banff. DSBM covers it from Fordafourie, Fraserburgh. This is a longer inland run than Inverurie, and we do not pretend otherwise. Call 01224 044741 or send GPS. Town, Battlehill, and outlying farms are different pins. Booked long-distance collections often start here: quotes.dsbm.uk.
A96, A97 and the Cabrach door.
The A96 is the Aberdeen–Inverness trunk through town. The A97 is the high south road toward Rhynie — weather closes it. Roads toward Turriff and Keith are rural. The Square is not the bypass. If you are already on the Cabrach or a high unfenced road, say so; that is a winter plan, not a High Street job. The Square, the A96 bypassing it, and Battlehill are three pins. The A97 toward Rhynie is a high road that takes snow after the A96 is still clear. If you are already toward Keith or the Cabrach, say which — those are not Huntly High Street.
When you call from Huntly
Registration, pin, rolls / steers / brakes, A96 / A97 / town / farm. WhatsApp 07475 722702 a photo in snow or if you are off tarmac.
Town recovery and long-distance transport
Emergency call or GPS. Huntly is also a natural booked-collection point for cars heading south or west — that is quotes.dsbm.uk, not a recovery call.
ETA from Fraserburgh
Honest longer A96 clock from Fraserburgh. Further than Inverurie. Weather on the A97 and high roads can double the plan. Time with the pin.
